why we Indian are biased for boy and girl child 🚸
We Indians need women as a wife, as a mother, as a sister but not as a daughter!
According to the Indian society, a girl is a burden, because:
- Parents take care of their daughter, nurture her, pay school & college fees to make her graduate. They spend on her education to simply get her marry to someone.
- They get worried if their daughter is not home by 7 or 8 by night.
- Later, their parents again pay hefty dowry to get her married to a decent guy.
- Even after her marriage, if something goes wrong and she gets divorced in between, her parents are still responsible.
- If something goes wrong with their Son in law, girls' parents should be stable to help them again.
- Parent's responsibility is never-ending if they have a daughter. Indian parents should always live a fearful life if they have a daughter.
Ask any father of a girl child, how much he struggles to search for a right husband to his daughter.
Proverb says,
“A good son in law is like a acquisition of a new son, a bad one is like a loss of your daughter.”
Despite doing all these, their daughter is not responsible to take care of her parents in their last days.
Every parent has a little bit of selfishness, and their kids should look after them in their last days.
Indians, think that having a boy is an asset and a girl is a liability.
- Every penny spent on his education is an asset because he will be going to look after them in their last days.
- No need to give dowry or spend money on marriage.
- No need to worry even if he checks in the home by 1 AM
- His in-laws will be there to support him financially.
But only a few people knows that,
The daughter is not equal to Tension, but the daughter is equal to Ten-son's.
